If you are a Midland Heart tenant and you are in Band D (no housing need), any bid you make on another Midland Heart property will not generally be considered, unless the property has been advertised as an ‘Immediately Available Home’.
If you are a Midland Heart tenant and you are in Band A, B, or C, any bid you make on another Midland Heart property will only be considered if you can show evidence that you have been actively looking for a swap (mutual exchange), either through Homes Direct or in other ways.
Bidding cycle for properties to rent opens on Wednesday and closes on Sunday. You will not be able to bid for any properties for rent on Monday or Tuesday. If you are shortlisted for a property, your application will be assessed to ensure you have the correct priority on the housing register and you will be required to provide evidence in support of your application. This may lead to a change in your priority.
